The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number website of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
